I am thrilled to announce that my film 'SOUNDS OF THE SIDEWALK, A JOURNEY OF GOODBYE' has been accepted into the New York City International Film Festival and the San Diego Short Doc Festival. More film festivals receiving my film soon.

"Given one year left to live, Steven Ried asks friend and humanitarian photographer Michele Zousmer to capture the last few weeks of his life. This intimate piece challenges perceptions of homelessness and captures the beauty and grace that exists in even the most difficult of times. It is a testament to homelessness, death from cancer, vulnerability, friendship, love, and quiet moments of grief and loss. Michele was able to make his final wish come true and change the perception of someone who was homeless."
